Words to die by...

This comes to me from my Cousin's son, Bryan, which makes him, I guess, my first cousin, once removed. He doesn't know who the author is so we will just have to call him "anonymous." They are certainly words to live by. In my particular case and I suspect, a whole bunch of other Boomers as well, who live or have lived "Life in the Fast Lane,", some justification. Justification for all the terminal diseases, chronic degenerative maladies, pain, loss of one or more bodily functions or skills like walking, standing, sitting, sanding, playing the drums, driving cars, surfing, and even using a keyboard, mouse, remote control or one's memory sometimes, that we have accrued over the decades. They will be, I'm sure, words to die by:

"Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Calmly, Safely,

With A Well-Preserved Body (Replacement Parts Notwithstanding),

But Rather, Skid In Sideways, Exhaust Pipes Glowing Red,

Tires Squirting Gravel At Those Brothers And Sisters Who have Survived,

Shouting,

Holy Shit------------What A Ride!
